"Clevedon’s new hub, along with others across North Somerset, will provide better facilities for passengers and encourage more sustainable travel choices." Traffic will be diverted to the right side of the clock tower, with the Old Street bus stop relocating to the left. A new loading bay, additional parking, and a pedestrian crossing will be installed at the current Old Street bus stop site. Two upgraded bus shelters will be built on Kenn Road and The Triangle near the clock tower. Across North Somerset, the wider transport scheme includes around 150 upgraded bus stops and shelters, new bus lanes, and other improvement measures to help buses move more quickly and reliably.
