Harry Miller, from Weston-super-Mare, set himself the challenge of riding 250 miles in 14 days to raise funds for the Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children's Hospital charity.
The 14-year-old, who had previously undergone surgery at the hospital, was so impressed with the NHS staff that he wanted to give something back.
He began his cycling challenge on Wednesday, June 1, planning to complete 15 to 20 miles each day.
Determined not to let anyone down, Harry rested for two days before getting back on his bike.
On Saturday, June 13, he finished his challenge a day ahead of schedule, having clocked up 264 miles and raised £935, which was more than £1,000 with Gift Aid.
