After more than a decade lurking in the shadows, Konami’s Silent Hill series of horror games has come roaring back in a major way. The series returns this fall — during an unusually stacked week on the gaming calendar — with Silent Hill: Townfall, a standalone spinoff developed by Glasgow-based Screen Burn Interactive. It’s here in the hotel that Simon gets access to a portable CRT television, which serves a similar function to the radio in earlier Silent Hill games. After this demo, Silent Hill: Townfall rocketed to the top of my most-anticipated list for the remainder of 2026. Silent Hill: Townfall will be released on PlayStation 5 and Windows PC on Sept. 24.
