Basildon Council has launched a consultation for the Pride in Place programme, which forms part of the Government’s investment to support long-term improvements in Lee Chapel North, Laindon Central and Chalvedon.
The project aims to enhance public spaces, strengthen community facilities, and boost neighbourhood pride, safety, and opportunity.
"Whether it's improving local spaces, creating more opportunities or strengthening community pride, your views will help shape the future of the neighbourhood."
Jay Robinson, independent chair of the Chalvedon Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board, said: "Pride in Place is about putting local people at the centre of decision-making.
He said: "While Basildon Council is the accountable body for the programme, Pride in Place will be shaped by local people.
