In Cam, Box Road Avenue (401586) is scheduled to shut between house numbers 2 and 6 for Severn Trent repair works from August 12 to August 14. In Wotton-under-Edge, The Cedars (401579) will close between Coombe Road and Valley Road on August 11 between 8am and 5pm for further Severn Trent activity, again with access on foot and for emergency vehicles retained. Separately, a rolling programme of carriageway patching continues around Coaley, affecting stretches of Box Road, The Street, Peters Street, Field Lane, Cam Green and nearby lanes. Those works have already started but are expected to run until August 7, with a mix of closures, waiting restrictions and bans on loading. Residents are being advised to follow on-site signs and allow extra time for journeys as dates may change if works overrun.
