The Intack Inn, off Accrington Road, is one of 10 pubs listed in the Lancashire Telegraph Best Pub competition, which returns for another year. The competition aims to support local eateries and also give readers the chance to vote for their favourite small businesses. The Intack Inn was taken over by Shaun Morgan and his partner in April, who both wanted to run a pub having worked in local establishments. "We both wanted to run a pub and took a chance earlier this year. Readers are encouraged to get involved and support their favourite venue, with the winner to be revealed soon after.
