The system, less comprehensive than the full VAR, will feature a Video Assistant Referee at each club's Video Operation Room (VOR). The assistant will control replays and communicate with the on-field referee regarding potential reviews. The system will employ four core cameras - two at the halfway line and one at each penalty area line. However, the system will not influence yellow card decisions, match restarts, or employ offside line or goal line technology. The on-field referee will still make the final decision after reviewing the incident on the pitch-side monitor.
