The Senior Championship is split into groups, with four to advance from Group One (Ahane, Ballybrown, Doon, Kilmallock, Monaleen, and Na Piarsaigh) and just two from Group Two (Adare, Garryspillane, Kildimo/Pallaskenry, Mungret St Paul’s, Newcastle West, and Patrickswell). The top billing is the clash of holders Na Piarsaigh and Kilmallock at Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale this Thursday night (7pm). This is a repeat of last season’s semi-final in which Na Piarsaigh eased past Kilmallock, 2-20 to 1-17, in Bruff.
