Oswestry Town Council has expressed its gratitude to local residents and organisations following a surge of interest in joining the Steering Group that will guide the town’s future development. Following a review of all submitted applications by a council working group, plans are now firmly underway to establish the panel that will shape Oswestry’s Neighbourhood Plan. - Advertisement -The establishment of the Steering Group marks the initial phase of what is anticipated to be a three-year process, ultimately culminating in a local community referendum to formally adopt the plan. Despite the encouraging response, the working group remains keen to recruit further expertise before finalising the panel.
