Gavin Buckle, of Whitehall Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, appeared before Isle of Wight magistrates on Friday, July 24. At a previous hearing in May, the 38-year-old admitted obstructing a police constable, two counts of assault by beating, and a public order offence, in Shanklin, on April 14 last year. She said officers were told Buckle was at the property, which he was banned from, intoxicated and refusing to leave. Ms Edwards said he started throwing things and swung for the property owner, whose colleague became involved and got between them. Eventually, he was taken to the ground by the property owner’s colleague.
