A British woman was discovered dead inside her cabin on a cruise ship as it arrived at the Greek island of Santorini on Sunday. Her body was taken by boat from the cruise ship to the port of Athinios during the early morning hours. The transfer from vessel to shore required a separate boat to reach the Santorini port, reflecting the logistical challenges of removing a passenger from a large cruise ship docked off the island. Greek authorities have not named the cruise ship on which the woman was travelling, though they have confirmed it operates under the Marshall Islands flag. Following the passenger's removal, the cruise ship reportedly continued along its scheduled Aegean Sea itinerary.
