A women's rights activist has voiced her fury after a "Queer Milk" charity was handed taxpayer cash to promote so-called "chestfeeding". LGBT Health and Wellbeing holds weekly sessions in Edinburgh so transgender women - or biological men - can give human milk to their babies. The charity has insisted its "Queer Milk" initiative provides a space for people “breastfeeding, chestfeeding or giving human milk to their baby in any amount... no matter what your feeding journey looks like”. Scottish Trans - another group handed public money by the SNP - has insisted that biological men are capable of breastfeeding. "Whatever hormone-induced gloop their bodies might be chemically engineered to produce, it is not human milk.
