Fire crews tackle large baler blaze in north Norfolk field
['Hallie Taylor']
Eastern Daily Press | News
The baler caught alight in the field by the B1155 on the outskirts of Burnham Market.
Five fire crews from Wells-Next-The-Sea, Heacham, Hunstanton, King's Lynn and Holt were called to the scene to tackle the blaze just before 4pm on Tuesday.
An eyewitness said the fire looked "really serious" and added that "it's lucky the wind was going in the right direction and not towards the wood, as it could have been much worse".
A baler is a machine used on farms that compresses loose materials like hay or straw into tight bales.
According to Norfolk Fire and Rescue, the fire was put out just before 5.30pm.
