Fenland District Council has agreed detailed plans for a pair of four-bed properties in Friday Bridge, between Wisbech and Outwell. Two neighbours were against the proposals for the site on Woodhouse Farm Close, off Jew House Drove which had already been granted outline permission. Another added: "The dwellings will have no privacy from traffic entering and leaving the close." But planning officers said the chalet-style proposals were a “high-quality form of development” that reflects the character of the nearby barn-style homes. Both houses will have a brick-weave driveway, shrubs planted in their front gardens and rear lawns.
