Work to preserve the 15th century tower of St Simon and St Jude in Elm Hill has started.
The project, led by the Norwich Historic Churches Trust (NHCT), aims to conserve and stabilise the flint-built tower.
The church has stood for more than 600 years and its tower previously suffered a partial collapse in 1911.
The project is being funded by Historic England, with additional support from Norwich City Council, the Pilgrim Trust, Norfolk Churches Trust and John Jarrold Trust.
