He was punched in the face in what officers described as an unprovoked attack, leaving him with a fractured jaw. The suspect is understood to have fled the station afterwards, pushing past an elderly man as he made his way onto Gordon Street. A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "Detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man was assaulted at Glasgow Central in July.
