Neil Grady, 34, of Arncliffe Drive, Burtonwood, appeared at Chester Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
Grady had been due to go to trial over the matter but instead pleaded guilty to making off without making payment in relation to an incident at Grosvenor Pulford Hotel on Sunday, April 6, 2025.
Grady was said to have stayed at the Chester hotel for a night, and consumed food and alcohol while there.
He was also said to have had spa treatments, at which point he was expected to pay a total of £1,266.50.
Grady was released on conditional bail, preventing him from entering the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel, and he will return to Chester Magistrates' Court on August 26 to be sentenced.
