Dr Rachel Burke has just completed her first full term at Penketh Primary Academy after recently stepping into the role of head teacher. Speaking to the Warrington Guardian about what makes Penketh Primary stand out above the rest, she continued: "What stands out most to me is the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the strong sense of community at Penketh Primary Academy. Initially starting out as a classroom teacher, it wasn’t until Rachel’s career progressed that she discovered her love for leadership. Previously, before being appointed in her new role, Rachel had worked as an assistant head teacher at a three-form-entry primary school in Halton. Giving an insight into what it has been like to be head of Penketh for a full school term, Rachel said: "It is a privilege.
