In the latest of several missed collections, Longford Street resident David Millington watched the council workers attend his home and fail to empty his food bin.
David stated that he reported the incident, which occurred on Thursday, July 16, on the Warrington Borough Council website that same day.
According to the council, food waste bins are to be collected every week, with residents asked to put food waste into caddy liners and deposit into the outdoor caddy ready to be collected on the same day as the black bin collections.
Commenting on the issue, a Warrington Borough Council spokesperson said: "We’re sorry to hear about the missed food waste collection.
"Missed collections are rare—however, they sometimes can occur.
