Ten people have been detained under Preventive Detention Orders (PDOs), with the orders alleging links to organised crime groups involved in firearms offences, extortion, violent robberies, human trafficking and planned attacks. Among those detained is Odie Cummings, of Courland Bush Trace, Black Rock, Tobago, who authorities identified as the alleged leader and chief planner of an organised crime group operating in Tobago. The order alleges he is an active member of the same organised crime group and provided transportation for the group. The order alleges he is a facilitator for the Market Hill Gang and links him to a recent armed robbery and planned attacks against rival gang members. The order alleges the network recruited, transported, harboured and sexually exploited vulnerable women and minors for financial gain.
