The sight of our once heroic Olympian Adam Ramsay-Peaty blubbing poolside after humiliatingly collecting a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games was a pitiful, unedifying sight. Following his disappointing performance in his heat, Ramsay-Peaty insisted that he had 'a battle plan' ahead of yesterday's 50m breaststroke final. Not only did Adam miss out on gold but had to settle for bronze rather than silver. His long-suffering mother Caroline broke her silence after he blamed his bitter family feud on failing to win gold at the Commonwealth Games. In a rare social media post, Caroline wrote that she and Adam's dad Mark will always 'continue to support Adam from afar'.
