North Wales Police said the crash has happened near the junction with Glyndwr Road and Kenyon Avenue. As a result of the collision, only one lane is currently open, with traffic building in the area. In a statement, North Wales Police said: “Please note that due to a road traffic collision there are delays on Chester Road, Wrexham, in the area of the junction with Glyndwr Road and Kenyon Avenue, only one lane is open.” North Wales Police has not yet said how long the lane restriction is expected to remain in place. UPDATE 8:00PM:According to traffic monitoring systems, the road has now been reopened and traffic has eased.
