A key focus will be Safety Mate’s Black Dog product range, which combines hand, eye and respiratory protection with support for the Black Dog Institute. Since partnering with the institute in 2021, Safety Mate has donated more than $2 million through sales of the range, with every pair of Black Dog gloves and eyewear helping fund mental health research and support programs. Safety Mate will also showcase Riley safety glasses, Skytec’s respiratory protection solutions designed to help safeguard workers from airborne hazards, and Moldex’s hearing protection products. Also debuting at the Safety Mate stand will be Yondr, the company’s newest addition to its range. Visitors to the Safety Mate Premium Lounge at QMIHSC from August 16-19 can meet the team, learn more about the latest safety technologies and discover products designed to help improve worker protection, comfort and wellbeing across the mining industry.
