Brigadier Nobuntu Gantana said the business was situated on Main Street in Tsomo. She said that, according to reports, a police patrol heard a “loud explosive sound” at around 03:40 while on duty. “They immediately went to investigate and, upon detecting a strong smell of smoke, traced it to a store known as MAA Cash and Carry. “They attempted to gain entry, along with private security personnel and members of the local community who came to assist. “At this stage, no foul play is suspected, and the investigation continues,” Gantana said.
