Authorities say 47-year-old Kristopher Karolkiewicz allegedly shot and killed his 39-year-old wife, Amanda, along with their six children, whose ages ranged from 5 to 15, before taking his own life. Investigators believe he then set the family's home on fire in an apparent attempt to destroy evidence. The incident came to light on July 24 when firefighters responded to reports of smoke coming from the property.
