A YOUNG Warwickshire content creator has received national recognition for helping to draw millions of eyes onto the county’s tourism scene.
Twenty-four year-old Hannah Douglas, who works at Warwickshire’s tourist board Shakespeare’s England, has scooped the Young Excellence Award at UKinbound’s Awards for Excellence after impressing judges.
“I’m really proud to have been recognised in this way, and for the encouragement the Shakespeare’s England team have given me to pursue ideas to put our region on the global stage.”
The award comes as the latest available figures from Shakespeare’s England revealing 9.9 million day trips being made to south Warwickshire in 2024 – marking a 12 per cent rise compared to 2023.
Darren Tosh, operations and marketing director at Shakespeare’s England, added: “Hannah’s impact on the profile of our region cannot be underestimated, and her award win is truly deserved.
