Denbighshire County Council’s Trading Standards team has issued the caution following the seizure of over 600 products in a recent county-wide crackdown.
Trading Standards officers have been actively educating retailers and the public, identifying common signs of counterfeit toys and conducting inspections across the county.
These efforts recently resulted in the seizure of a significant number of counterfeit and potentially unsafe items.
Officials warn that counterfeit toys often lack proper safety markings and importer details.
"They recently carried out a number of visits in the county which led to large seizure of counterfeit and/or potentially unsafe items."
