Shared Claude conversations and Artifacts containing personal and corporate information were found in Google and Bing search results over the weekend. Anthropic said it does not provide search engines with a directory or sitemap of shared conversations. However, Wired reported that Claude’s shared pages lacked individual “noindex” instructions, which tell search engines not to include a page in results.
