On Saturday, the public will be invited to come along to the village park, with families expected to come along from neighbouring areas. Organiser Helen Law said: "It starts at 11.30, we have Bowmar Pipe Band and following that, a ceremony for crowning the gala royal party. "We have music provided by Joosie Disco, our local Charlie Cullen who MC's the event and the kids will get their gala bags. The big day will come after some smaller village events like the children's treasure hunt and quiz night. I'm looking forward to it, and the children are really looking forward to it."
