Parkway Cinema in Workington has lost power following an incident on a high voltage cable, which has affected a total of 102 properties at the Dunmail Park site and surrounding areas. According to SP Electricity North West's website, the power cut was first reported at 3.07 pm on Tuesday, July 28. Engineers have been dispatched to the site, and power is estimated to be restored by 6.07 pm today. It is not yet confirmed what has caused the power cut however, it is understood contractors may have dug through a mains cable. SP Electricity North West has been contacted for more information.
