Plans have been submitted for The Box Padel Club, which would bring the rapidly growing sport of padel to the town. His plans include three padel courts, two pickleball courts, a clubhouse, a 5,400 sq ft fitness space, a 4,800 sq ft industrial unit and four public EV charging points. Mr Aston said: "The Box Padel Club has been a long time in the making, so it's exciting to finally submit our plans." Free time on the padel courts will be offered to local schools and charities.
