Alexander Prior, 36, from Cambridge Walk in Henham, Bishop Stortford, was caught driving a black Ford Kuga on the A66 at Threlkeld on June 27, 2026. He appeared at West Cumbria Courthouse on July 27 and pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified. A collection order was made, requiring Prior to pay the total amount by August 24. Driving while disqualified is an offence under section 103(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and Schedule 2 of the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988. The case was heard at West Cumbria Courthouse, and the court took Prior’s guilty plea into account when passing sentence.
