The Cockermouth and District Agricultural Show is returning to The Fitz on Low Road, Cockermouth this Saturday, August 1, and this year there will be some new additions to the event, which continues to grow in its 174th year. Entries for sheep, cattle, and equine are all also said to be healthy for this year. Families will also have the chance to enjoy the day, with a funfair and free climbing wall throughout the day. The secretary also thanked all the show’s sponsors, as well as Mr Slack for the use of the Cockermouth Show field. Cockermouth Show will take place throughout the day this Saturday, with entry available on the gate.
