The former boss of Britain’s biggest estate agency has won his case for unfair dismissal and age discrimination against Skipton Building Society.
David Livesey, 67, had spent 33 years at Connells, which Skipton bought in 2010.
Skipton sent Livesey a cheque for just 46p for Connells shares that cost him £420,000.
The tribunal found ‘the less favourable treatment’ Livesey received over his shares ‘was not justified’.
Livesey welcomed the ruling.
