They added that the extremely low channel fill levels will persist. On Tuesday morning, the water level of the Danube in Budapest fell to a record low: the gauge read 31 centimetres in the morning. The previous record had been the lowest measured water level of 33 centimetres, recorded on 25 October 2018.
