People living on Leeson Road in Bournemouth say the lack of on-street parking is leading to frequent fines for visitors, carers and contractors. Ms Lazzeri said parking restrictions have been in place since she moved in 10 years ago. Residents are calling on BCP Council to introduce a residents' permit or another parking solution for locals. There are no parking restrictions on Leeson Road on weekends. As part of BCP Council's guidance for residents' parking schemes, 75 per cent or more properties in the area of the scheme must not have off-road parking facilities.
