Ryanair refuse to refund passengers after flight diverted to Stansted in early hours

In a statement to the Echo, Ryanair said the passengers’ expense claim was “not reasonable”, meaning they only got a partial reimbursement.
“We were the only passengers who were getting text messages from Ryanair, so we were relaying this to everybody else.
Ryanair (Image: Getty)A spokesperson for Ryanair said: "This flight from Palma to Bournemouth (18 June) was forced to divert to London Stansted due to heavy fog at Bournemouth Airport — which was entirely beyond airlines’ control.
As this was not a reasonable expense for transport from Stansted to Bournemouth, these passengers received partial reimbursement of €150.”
“We have a contract with Ryanair to get us to our place of destination, and they never fulfilled that.
