Neil Duncan-Jordan MP said 49 MPs have now supported his Early Day Motion opposing the plans, which he argues could unfairly impact people who have built their lives in the UK under existing immigration rules. He said: "People who came here under one set of rules and built their lives around them should not see those promises changed." The campaign calls on the Government to honour existing expectations for those already on a path to settlement.
