Jon Fisher, a Senior Communications Manager at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust, was summarily dismissed in June 2024 following an investigation into allegations dating back several years. The tribunal also found that Fisher's own conduct had substantially contributed to his dismissal, resulting in significant reductions to his compensation award. “This constitutes sexual harassment, as the behaviour was unwanted, intimidating and violated [her] dignity, whether this was intended or not.” The tribunal also heard allegations that Fisher had made inappropriate comments towards female members of staff. It further reduced the compensation based on the judgement that Fisher had contributed to his own dismissal through his misconduct.
