The Bengaluru police said dogs may have carried remains from the railway tracks and that the identity of the victim is yet to be confirmed. On Tuesday night, Bengaluru Police found a headless body on railway tracks. On Wednesday morning they found a human head near a cricket playground, 200 metres away. The body – sans the head – was sent for a post-mortem examination. And now that the head has been recovered and the identity confirmed, Vishwanath’s parents have been informed, the police said.
