The S&P/NZX 50 Index rose 0.83% or 114.74 points to close at 13,976.67.
On the domestic front, a total of 3,169 metric tonnes (MT) of products were sold during the Global Dairy Trade (GDT) Pulse auction held Tuesday, with supply ranging from 2,750 MT to 3,200 MT, according to data from the trading platform.
In corporate news, ikeGPS Group (ASX:IKE, NZE:IKE) reported fiscal first-quarter revenue of around NZ$6.4 million, unchanged from a year earlier, reflecting interim softness in one-off and lower-margin services revenue.
Serko (ASX:SKO, NZE:SKO) reported that fiscal first-quarter online bookings increased 1% year over year to NZ$2.3 million, while completed room nights (CRNs) rose 39% to NZ$1.4 million.
