Ann Migliorato, charged in April 2024 with aggravated battery to a child in McHenry County. She said the child’s mother noticed the baby would wake up in the middle of the night crying. The child’s mother, as well as a pediatric nurse practitioner and a doctor, all said that the baby suffered three rib fractures. “I knew I had to intervene,” the child’s mother said during her testimony Tuesday. The child testified that while filming Migliorato, she was worried Migliorato would catch her and yell at her, try to delete the video or break her phone.
