New Jersey starts removing voters added through registration error

Mikie Sherrill said thousands of noncitizens were added to New Jersey's voter rolls during the previous administration because of the error.
WATCH HERE WATCH HEREThe governor's office said it has mailed letters to people affected by the software error and launched a website to answer questions about the issue.
The office also said the New Jersey Division of Elections has started removing about 4,500 voter registrations connected to the software error.
That is fewer than the 6,600 registrations the governor initially said had been added in error.
The governor had previously said the 6,600 people initially registered through the software error had identified themselves as noncitizens during the registration process.
