Jul 28, 2026Dwayne PageThe DeKalb County Government will be hosting a swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected candidates for public offices on August 31st, 2026 at 6pm in the auditorium of the County Complex. Honorable Judge Brandon Cox will be administering the oath of office to all elected candidates. This includes County Commissioners, School Board, Register of Deeds, County Trustee, County Clerk, Circuit Court Clerk, Road Supervisor, Sheriff, and County Mayor. Elected candidates will take office September 1st, 2026 at 12:00 A.M. (CST)
