The rush is being fueled by rumors of another wave of military mobilization in Russia. Realtors in Yerevan told the Russian outlet that demand was “huge” and prices had become “just crazy.” Citing Yandex Wordstat , Verstka reported that searches for “apartments in Yerevan” reached 5,200 during the week of July 13–19. Armenia became a major destination for Russians fleeing the country after the invasion and during the 2022 mobilization. Ukraine’s Center for Countering Disinformation assessed that the shift could be intended to prepare the Russian public for further mobilization.
