Families fled from Hodeidah, Al‑Jawf, Taiz, and Aden to safer areas, with Marib receiving the largest share (37 families), followed by Hodeidah (27), Taiz (11), and smaller numbers in Aden and Al‑Dhalea.
Data showed that security concerns accounted for 54 percent of displacements last week, while economic hardship caused 17 families to flee.
In the previous week, 34 families were displaced by insecurity, seven by natural disasters, and one due to economic conditions.
IOM reported that 58 families were displaced between 5 and 11 July, bringing the cumulative total since January to 1,458 families—around 8,748 individuals.
The UN stressed that the combination of military escalation, economic collapse, and militia abuses is fueling displacement, underscoring the urgent need for humanitarian support to host communities already under severe pressure.
