It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of James Franklin Holshouser on July 25, 2026. Frank, who was 61 years old, was a lifelong resident of Mooresville, N.C., and deeply loved by his family and friends. Although he specialized in installing and repairing rolling steel doors, Frank provided an array of services that he tailored to suit each customer’s needs. Frank was preceded in death by his father, Robert Holshouser Jr. Left to cherish his memory are Frank’s devoted partner of 30 years, Janice Lail; his mother, Carolyn Holshouser; his stepmother, Susan Holshouser; and his sister, Linda Holshouser (Ted Cerneant). Cavin-Cook Funeral Home and Crematory, Mooresville, is serving the Holshouser family.
