I’m glad to see Michael Marra enter the leadership contest for the Scottish Labour Party. In a modern political world, that’s a crucial skill. Michael Marra, meanwhile, will face serious opposition if he wins the Scottish Labour leadership. Holyrood and common sense have become strangers, with party political loyalties increasingly disenfranchising the voters. I believe there still exists a deeply dormant, sentimental affection for the Labour Party on both sides of the border.
