Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday extended Guru Purnima greetings to gurus, describing the occasion as a celebration of gratitude towards those who shape people's lives. In a message posted on X, the Chief Minister said, "Guru Purnima is not just a festival but an opportunity to express our gratitude to the gurus who have guided and shaped our lives." Gurus provide us with direction and knowledge, identify our strengths, and instil confidence, discipline and courage in us," Revanth Reddy said. Guru Purnima is also known as Vyasa Purnima. Ved Vyasa, known for compiling the Vedas, writing the Mahabharata, and composing several other sacred Hindu texts.
