Court Takes on Record CBI Chargesheet in NEET Paper Leak Case

NEW DELHI: A designated fast-track court on Wednesday took on record the CBI’s chargesheet in the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case involving allegations of unfair means in public examinations.
Special Judge Anu Grover Baliga accepted the CBI’s final report against 13 accused and granted the agency time to file annexures.
The court was informed that around 20,000 pages of annexures are being scanned and would be submitted within three days.
Pathak and Arjun Anand have been appointed as public prosecutors for the CBI in the case following a court direction.
The CBI had on Tuesday filed the chargesheet against 13 accused, including three paper experts, two persons linked to coaching centres, middlemen and beneficiary candidates.
